Primal Hunger by Dawn Montgomery

Blurb :
Azros del Mar hates the Sheon. Having suffered brutal abuse at their hands, he is left physically scarred and angry. An escape that nearly cost him his life results in a crash landing on a remote planet. There, surrounded by danger, he finds a woman who fires his blood, triggering a mating hunger so intense it sends him to the edge of sanity.

Kendra is a warrior in hiding. The last thing she needs is a hot-bodied, feral Valorian upsetting her mission…no matter how sexy or tempting the broad-shouldered tiger-mix may be. But when her body begins to show signs of feral heat, she realizes the one man who can soothe the hunger could easily destroy everything she’s worked for.

With war on the horizon, they must fight to stay alive.
And together.

My review :
I swear to God, this woman makes me have a thing for stripes! Before Dawn Montgomery, I had never read about stripped men and I could never imagine myself melting for one (or two, depenting on how many of her books you've read).
It's a sizzling hot book, with lots of action and an unexpected closure. I wouldn't mind a second book, to see how the heroes cope with their lives from then on or for another couple, (i think) i saw in the book. I liked very much that:
A) At the beginning of the book you expect someone else to "say the story", but nope!! I liked that! and B) the fact that our heroes did not decide for everything that had to do with their goals and plans... They trusted others, (some times) were left in the dark and maybe somethings got a bit out of control.... It was amazing "watching" two characters, who are used to being in charge, giving up control and getting out of their comfort zone!
It was an awesome read and I will def read it again!!

About Dawn Montgomery
SA Today bestselling author Dawn Montgomery loves to write almost as much as she loves to read. She has traveled the world twice over. While her days were filled with long hours and hard work, her nights were left for dark, lustful fantasies in and out of strange hotels and cities.
Alaska and Texas are the places she calls home. She recently moved from the frigid North to Texas with her family and neurotic dog. It was tragic to leave behind the moose and bear for wide open plains and sexy cowboys.
