Blurb
A bad boy
wrapped in a sexy, muscled, grown-up package might be worth a little risk…
Molly
Webster has always followed the rules. After an ugly scandal tore apart her
childhood and made her the focus of the media’s harsh spotlight, she vowed to
live an ordinary life. No fame. No impropriety. No pain. Then she meets Zachary
Fox, a tattooed bad boy rocker with a voice like whiskey and sin, and a touch
that could become an addiction.
A one-night
stand with the hottest rock star on the planet, that’s all it was meant to be…
Fox
promises scorching heat and dangerous pleasure, coaxing Molly to extend their
one-night stand into a one-month fling. After that, he’ll be gone forever, his
life never again intersecting with her own. Sex and sin and sensual indulgence,
all with an expiration date. No ties, no regrets. Too late, Molly realizes it
isn’t only her body that’s become addicted to Fox, but her heart…
My Review :
Personally
I thank my lucky stars, for knowing Nalini's work!
This time
Nalini Singh tries her hand on a different genre, than the one we are
accustomed by her, and she absolutely ROCKS IT!!!!!
She gives
us two characters, each with burdens of the past, being consumed by their
passion while struggling with their wants and needs.
Fox is the
lead singer of a famous rock band, with a voice that sounds like it
came straight from a woman's wet dreams.
Molly is a
librarian. She is fine with her life as it is and does not want to change it.
Not even for her personal rock addiction.
I must
admit that I do not indulge in many books that involve rock stars. But then
again I might as well have to rethink of it!
I did not
want the book to end. It was simply amazing!
Nalini
actually outdid herself with the way she wove the storylines which will
lead us to the next books [and yes I have already read the (amazing) arc of
"Rock Courtship" and know exactly why some things were written that
way].
The only
thing I did mind were the too many sex scenes. I was not disappointed, 'cause
let's face it: Nalini Singh cannot write a bad sex scene. I simply found it
tiresome at some point. Then again, this incredible author made it up for it at
the end.
It was
simply ....... Astounding! Marvelous!!!
I give the
book 5 stars, because I cannot give more.
I love it
and I need more!
Miss
Singh???? When will the next one be out? ~ Kiki
